HVAC and electrical services in Weddington, NC

EZ HVAC & Electric is a licensed HVAC company and electrical contractor serving Weddington from our base in Mint Hill. Ezequiel Lopez handles every job personally, with a clear price before work begins.

For homes along Weddington Road and Providence Road, keeping every space comfortable can mean looking at more than one system. If you also want backup power or EV charging, the electrical capacity matters just as much as the equipment you choose.

We'll look at what you have, talk through what you need and explain which repairs or upgrades make sense for your home.

Your home comfortable

HVAC services in Weddington

If one floor won't stay comfortable or a heat pump struggles to reach the thermostat setting, we'll check the equipment and airflow. We provide heat pump repair and installation in Weddington, AC repair and replacement, and furnace service.

We work on homes with multiple systems and can assess whether zoning or ductwork changes would help with uneven temperatures. See all HVAC services.

Power your home with confidence

Electrical services in Weddington

Backup power starts with deciding what you want to keep running during an outage, whether that's heating and cooling, a well pump or other essential equipment. We plan generator installations around those needs.

For EV charging, we check the existing electrical capacity before installing a dedicated circuit. If both a charger and a generator are on your list, we can plan the work together, including any needed panel or service upgrade. We also handle electrical repairs. See all electrical services.

Owner & technician

Meet Ezequiel Lopez

I'm Ezequiel Lopez, and I've spent 14 years in the HVAC and electrical trades. I run EZ HVAC & Electric the way I think a contractor should work: the person who looks at your system and gives you the price is the same person who shows up and does the job.

I hold both licenses, NC HVAC License #30039 and NC Electrical License #37663. That matters more than people expect. A lot of heating and cooling problems turn out to be electrical, and a lot of new equipment needs a new circuit, so being able to handle both means fewer appointments and one person accountable for the whole job.

I'd rather explain what's going on and let you decide than sell you something you don't need. If a repair will do, I'll tell you.

Based in Mint Hill. Serving Weddington, Charlotte and the surrounding area, Monday–Sunday, 8:00 AM–7:00 PM.

Frequently asked questions

Good questions. Straight answers.

Do I need a panel upgrade for a generator or EV charger?

Sometimes. It depends on your panel's capacity and existing load. We check before installing and will tell you if an upgrade is needed.

Do you service homes with more than one HVAC system?

Yes. We repair and replace multiple systems in the same home, and we can add zoning where it helps.

Do you install EV chargers in Weddington?

Yes. We install Level 2 chargers, including Tesla Wall Connectors, and NEMA 14-50 outlets on a properly sized dedicated circuit.

Are you licensed for HVAC and electrical work in Weddington?

Yes. Ezequiel Lopez holds NC HVAC License #30039 and NC Electrical License #37663.

What are your hours for Weddington service calls?

We're open Monday–Sunday, 8:00 AM–7:00 PM, weekends included, and there's no travel fee for Weddington. Limited after-hours emergency service by phone.

What size generator does a larger Weddington home need?

It depends on what you want to run during an outage, like multiple HVAC systems, a well pump or the whole house. We add up those loads and size the generator and transfer switch around them.
